Henrik Noesgaard, P. Eng., MBA, ICD. D
Interim Chief Executive Officer

 

Henrik Noesgaard is an experienced Business Executive with a solid record of achievement in developing and growing companies in the aerospace, defence and industrial equipment manufacturing industries. His career has included a variety of Executive, General Management, Operations, Strategic Planning, and Sales and Marketing positions at companies in the Aerospace, Defence, and Industrial Equipment manufacturing industries.

These include Skyjack Inc., Heroux-Devtek Inc., Devtek Corporation, King Truck Manufacturing, Bombardier Inc., and Pratt and Whitney.

He has earned a reputation for developing and running profitable companies. He has excellent people skills and is adept at building strong, team oriented organizations focused on achieving profitable results. He has led turn arounds, repositioned and grown businesses, and developed new businesses and is highly regarded for delivering on commitments.

He has served on the Board of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada, the Canadian NATO Industrial Advisory Group, the Ontario Aerospace Council and the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario


George Chiarucci, CA
Chief Financial Officer

 

George is an experienced senior executive with over 30 years business in senior financial and commercial roles, including extensive experience as a public company CFO including corporate governance, investor relations, finance, IT, mergers and acquisitions, and business process improvement.

George began his career with Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young) and has recently served as CFO of two TSX-listed companies -- Cymat Corp. and Timminco Limited -- and provided corporate financial consulting to several other TSX-listed companies.

In addition, he has worked for Molson Breweries in both senior financial and marketing roles, Rio Algom (Atlas Alloys) as VP Controller, and Slater Steel as VP Controller and VP Commercial gaining experience in cost control, supply chain management, business to business selling, project management, information technology, logistics and commercialization of new material technology.

George is a Chartered Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Loyola College (now Concordia) and a Diploma in Accounting from McGill University. He is a director of the Financial Executive International, Toronto Chapter, and has volunteered as a staff member of McMasters DeGroot Business School Directors’ College.


Jay Konduros
Vice President, Operations

 

Jay joined Atlantis in September 1987 after graduating from Ryerson Polytechnical with a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering. In his first role as a Simulation Designer, he modelled and tested numerous aircraft systems for the US Air Force F-15E and US Navy E6 TACAMO. By 1991 he had assumed the Engineering Project Leader role and managed the simulation design efforts for several more military and commercial training platforms. In 1996 Jay became the Engineering Support Department Manager, managing the engineering support of all in-service Atlantis training simulators.

By 2000, Jay had moved on to form and lead the newly created Customer Support and Satisfaction department, focusing on enhanced customer satisfaction. Here Jay managed all business aspects of the support and upgrading of most Atlantis products.

In 2002, the needs of the company pulled Jay back to his simulation roots as he was appointed Simulation Department Manager. Here Jay provided leadership and mentoring to a very large cadre of new Simulation Designers hired to handle the growth in business. Jay took on the extra duties of Software Department Manager in 2003, and in 2005 became the Director of Engineering.

In mid 2006, Jay became acting Vice President of Operations and since 2007 has been the Vice President of Operations, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Atlantis Systems International.


Chris Lewis, P. Eng.
Vice President, Training Systems

 

Chris joined Atlantis in June, 1990. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1988 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering Science (Aerospace), and is a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng.). He also has five years experience as a military combat engineer. He began his career with Atlantis as a simulation designer, and has 10 years of development engineering and management experience on both commercial and military training programs. He has been a director with Atlantis for the last five years, serving as the Director of Program Management and the Director of Engineering. Chris led the company's successful bid for the Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) program as part of the Allied Wings consortium. As the Vice President of Advanced Programs, Chris is responsible for the pursuit and capture of tier-2 integrated systems business.


Victor Alksnis, P. Eng.
Vice President, Quality Services

 

Victor joined Atlantis in February 1994 as a Simulation Designer modelling aircraft systems for platforms such as the Boeing 737 and US Air Force F-15. In 1995, he became a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. By 1999 he had assumed responsibility for the entire Quality Assurance function, including Configuration Management. In 2002, he became the Director of Quality Services. Victor led the efforts to achieve registration of Atlantis’ quality management system to the industry standards of ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2001. He also led the efforts to achieve approval of Atlantis’ quality management system by major aerospace companies such as Boeing, Rockwell Collins, and Westland Helicopters Limited. Victor graduated from the University of Toronto in 1990 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering Science (Aerospace). He currently works out of our headquarters in Brampton.
