PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER / TECHNICIAN
Position No. 40-08

Atlantis currently has an opening for a Production Assembler/Technician. This position is for a one to two month contract with the possibility of an extension.

The Production Assembler/Technician is responsible for:

• Assembly of simple to complex electro-mechanical components,
• Reading and following engineering design drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing specifications,
• Building complex mechanical assemblies following work orders with limited supervision,
• Following written and verbal instructions,
• Evaluating processes and procedures used and suggesting improvements.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Advanced assembly knowledge and experience,
• Good coordination and hand dexterity,
• Ability to operate basic hand tools effectively and safely,
• Ability to use measuring devices correctly and accurately,
• Commitment to meet deadlines,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• A pleasant and courteous manner,
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.

A high level of mechanical skills is a prerequisite.
